The Sling Bag carries a day's worth of essentials across the chest or the back: a compact camera or a small tablet in the main compartment, a phone and a wallet in the front pocket, and a row of elastic loops for a pen, a light and a knife. The strap swaps sides in seconds for left or right carry.

The shell is a 500-denier nylon with a water-resistant coating and YKK zips, so a rain shower is not a problem. The back panel is padded mesh that stays comfortable on a warm walk.

Empty, it weighs 320 g; loaded, it sits flat enough to wear under a jacket.
